PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

2024-Present, Documentary Arts Producer, Independent

First beginning with training in courses such as Visual Geographies & Geographic Film Production at UC Berkeley, I have independently produced a short film, as well as other field projects across geographies (including California & México) that integrate sound and photography. I have also worked as a collaborator on various documentary film sets, primarily as a sound recordist.

2024-2025, Art & Storytelling Associate, Student Environmental Resource Center

Expanded organizational art programming by facilitating an eco-creatives collective (The Leaflet), recruiting and collaborating with 10 student artists + writers for 1 year. Served as managing editor for an annual publication and reviewed rolling pitches for original multimedia projects, creative events, and web content.

2022-2024, Environmental Justice Associate, Student Environmental Resource Center

Led efforts to steward public educational resources and discussion spaces centered on EJ for hundreds of UC Berkeley students. Included SERC’s EJ Toolkit, EJ Trainings, and SERC Book Club.

2023, Collaborative Research Fellow, UC Berkeley American Cultures Center

Worked with Dr. Seth Lunine (Dept. of Geography, UC Berkeley) and Bay Area non-profit partner Restorative Media to co-craft a research project exploring racial representations in popular media + film.
